I just un-boxed it and plugged it in after downloading and installing the Cubase integration package. This keyboard is awesome! The feel of the keys is perfect for me, a bassist and non-keyboard player. I thought I'd have to adjust velocity curves right out the box but I didn't. Very soft velocities like a piano but with a semi-weighted synth feel. This is a great investment and replacement for my old Akai MPK61.

Musical Background:

Bassist and media composer.
