"I'd like to buy a better built product at a good price, but failing that these are priced in the disposable range, and work fine"

They wear out after a few months of daily use. The wires, not the speakers.
I'd be willing to pay more for a longer-lasting product, IF the wires were likewise better. However I've had a whole bunch of headphones over the years and the same problem applied to all of them with thin wires. All of the others cost a LOT more, to boot! Eventually unless they're of metal construction the plastic components take a beating and something else breaks, and is unfixable. Forget sex appeal, don't worry about "frequency response" as nearly everyone in the world knows how to make good speakers, concentrate on making a durable product.
Sound
These work just fine, and at a very favorable price. If the best possible sound from headphones is what's wanted there are better ones but will be far, far more expensive. For general listening- including to music (I listen to classical)- these are very good, & sit lightly on one's head. However like so many very lightweight headphones the use of a thin insulated wire for each side is its ultimate downfall- eventually skin oils penetrate the insulation on the wire from each speaker, the insulation becomes stiff & brittle & finally the very, very thin wire conductor inside breaks due to lack of flexibility. Too bad manufacturers don't come up with a better wire/insulation that this doesn't happen to. But at the current discount price (about $7) buying several of them makes a certain kind of sense. At that price… read more they're practically disposable!
Features
No features, just a basic set of headphones. Comes with a 1/4" microphone jack adaptor, mostly not needed with the majority of portable equipment, but useful for home tuner/amplifiers that only have the 1/4" jack input, of course. As previously noted I wish the leads were of more durable material. Not that most lightweight headphones are any better, of course, and most of them cost a lot more!
Ease of Use
plug them in
Quality
Again, so so wires. Typical, Unfortunately. The rest is OK, and will almost certainly outlast the feeble wires.
Value
Excellent value for the price!
