This versatile speaker cabinet features full-range sound reproduction, the added frequency range of a 2-way speaker system with a 15 in. woofer, 5 x 15 in. horn, and a 500-Watt peak program power rating. Its tough black carpet covering and heavy duty plastic protective corners make for excellent durability. The PS115 is fitted with a base mount insert for mounting it on speaker stands.

Sound: Sounds great to me. I run a pair of subs under these mains to fill out the bottom end. But they sound good by themselves. Feature: It's a 15" woofer with a 5X15 horn. Dual 1/4" jacks allow me to daisy chain the speakers if I want. Ease of Use: You plug them in, that's about it. Quality: I ran these speakers pretty loud for months before I blew the horns. Actually, we later found out it was the fault of the lead guitarist who overdrove the system with his effects/wah pedal misalignment and not so much the speakers failing. Still, at 250 watts RMS, you have to be careful not to expect too much from them. Value: I still think they are great value for the money. If you are on a tight budget, these will get you out and playing in front of people. They might not be as good as JBLs, Peaveys, or Yamahas, but consider the price you pay for them compared to the Nady PS115s. Manufacturer Support: I blew two horns, Nady replaced them under warranty. Only had to pay to ship the drivers out to Nady. The Wow Factor: It does the job, but it doesn't have much sex appeal compared to the lighter molded speakers available. This is just a big box with black carpet on it. Still, it's the sound that is important and I have no complaints there. Overall: These Nady PS115s will be good enough until we can upgrade our whole system. If the speakers get blown, I'd probably just fix it. If they were lost or stolen, I'd probably look at other more expensive speakers and upgrade at that time. But these speakers have paid for themselves many times over at live gigs and have allowed me to save up money to someday purchase an upgrade.

"durable"

Sound: sounds solid with good power amp. i used it with a small pa at first and i was fighting feedback because i had to crank the volume to get the sounds. now with a good power amp it handles good, louder and no feedback. Feature: i bought stands for these. Ease of Use: bulky when space is limited Quality: i justed wanted tell how after a gig i let these ride home in the back of a truck with someone else. there was a thunderstorm and it rained most of the night. i went to picked them up the next day and they were still in the back of the truck uncovered. i found them facing up full of water. i dumped the water out. put them away until the next jam. to my amazement they still played good. i still use them today. in fact at a recent gig they played great years after the flood. The Wow Factor: i bought them from a fellow muscian so the price was right.
