The MXL DRUM PA-5K Pro 6-piece microphone pack covers the needs of the studio or touring drummer or percussionist, consisting of one MXL A-55 KICKER Dynamic Kick Drum Mic, two MXL A-5t Dynamic Tom Mics, a pair of Cr21 pencil condenser mics for overheads, and the 606 Snare Condenser.

The A-55 KICKER is designed specifically to capture the low frequency rhythm of the kick drum while minimizing bleed from the rest of the drum kit. The kick drum mic is complemented by a pair of A-5t microphones to capture the punch and energy of toms.

Suited for drum overheads, the Cr21 Pair of pencil condensers are also a powerful option in tight situations. The CR21 mics sound clean, articulate, and full. With a fast transient response, the mics accurately pick up every scintillating detail of the performance while staying unobtrusive.

The Patented MXL 606 delivers the sound you are looking for when recording snare & high-hat cymbals. Using transformer-less FET circuitry and a gold-sputtered diaphragm capsule provides a clean and clear tone. The 606 also features a -20 dB switchable attenuation pad and low-frequency roll-off. All mics feature sturdy all-metal body construction designed to withstand abuse and impact.
