This heavyduty tripod stand is ideal for use in a seated position anywhere, anytime, getting the iPad off your lap and up to the perfect height for sight-reading, music lessons, rehearsals, typing, or any other seated activity. Features a music industry standard 5/8-27 inch threaded top end and includes a 360 degree swivel joint that mates with the TCM9150 u-mount protective case. Set-up and tear down is quick, and in transport or storage, the folded length is only 14 inches, small enough to share space with an iPad in a briefcase or gig bag.

The positives: You can adjust height for sitting or standing; it's lightweight but well built; it packs up in a small size. The negatives: The first one I received had a faulty clamp that wouldn't hold in place when in extended position. The good news is I told zZounds and they immediately shipped me a new one. Received it within two days and it worked fine! Thanks zZounds!
