On-Stage MS7255PG Pistol Grip Dome Base Microphone Stand

Got a lot of performers stepping up to the mic? This round-base microphone stand is height-adjustable with just a one-handed twist.

The On-Stage MS7255PG pistol grip dome base microphone stand is the same as the MS7255, but includes a pistol grip on the top of the stand for one-handed quick and easy height adjustments. The improved low profile patented design and 8 rubber feet keep the stand sturdy, so the mic will never knock you in the face.

Use only one hand to adjust the height or unscrew your clip! The anti-rotation feature means never holding the lower shaft to prevent loosening from the base. Oversized threading means it takes only seconds to assemble or disassemble this stand! Just turn the shaft clockwise to lock, and simply step on the foot pedal and turn counter-clockwise to release. The MS7255PG includes a pistol grip clutch for one-handed quick and easy height adjustments.

- Height Adj.: 38-61"
- Base Diameter: 10"

I'm a karaoke dj so my equipment takes a lot of abuse. My mic stand has been a weapon, an air guitar, and a stripper pole. I frequently replace them when the threads become stripped and the base falls off, (usually on my toes). I chose this mic stand because I'm sick of watching people spill beer all over it when they try to use 2 hands to adjust the height. Unfortunately some can't figure it out so it's still covered in beer, but it happens less often. I was thrilled to find the lock on the base preventing it from loosening and falling off! My toes are grateful! The first time I used it I discovered another great feature! The center pole does not come out when someone tries to extend it to ridiculous heights. No more having to reassemble the stand after watching a drunk person pull it apart. Instead of falling over in a drunken stupor as the pole goes flying, they lift the mic stand off the floor. The counter balance causes them to drop it on their own toes. Isn't karma great?! My only disappointment is that I see no need to buy another one soon, unless of course I find a need for a stripper pole. :)
