When I ordered this item, I was paying more attention, at the time, to the price rather than the stand itself. I figured I had one of the old shiny, chrome not too safe(for my guitar) stands coming. I could not have been more wrong!!! As I took the pieces out of the box, the heavy gauge of the tubing and the overall durability was evident. The spring release and locking arm protect your guitar well. For the money, every time I buy a guitar, I will order another.

Playing since junior high, clarinet, tenor sax guitar. Taking up playing again after a long break!
