Any instrument that would replace this one, would have to have as much "bottom end" as this one has "top end". For studio work, this bass provides all the definition I could ever want along with excellent playability.
Sound
This bass guitar is eally well suited for playing metal and hard rock. The notes are crisp and resonant due to the ash body. As someone who plays the boundaries of jazz-rock fusion, it holds a lot of promise depending on amplifier settings and adjustments that I intend to make to pickup heights.
Features
The treble, mid and bass equalizers provide an interesting set of variables with which to play - a lot more to explore than my sweet old P-bass. It'll be a while before I find out what I like and don't like.
Ease of Use
The big plus with this instrument is the action! It accommodates my playing style extremely well. Sixteenth notes are as well defined as longer ones.
Quality
This bass is well crafted!
Value
This definitely worth more than what I anticipated. It was sold as "blemished". I haven't found the blemish.
Manufacturer Support
I have not dealt with this manufacturer before.
The Wow Factor
Asthetically, it's a handsome instrument.
