Marshall MG100FX 2x12 Guitar Combo Amplifier otherwise known as the MG102FX; provides more power for the serious artist! Give the crowd a powerful guitar tone in a compact package. Get out the same 100 watt power you get with a head and cabinet without the overwhelming weight and space you need to transport one. Perfect for practice or medium sized venues with a PA, the MG 2x12 combo gives you all the punch needed without excessive stage noise. The 100 watt MG100FX combo has 4 channels; Clean, Crunch, and 2 Overdrive channels and operates in 2 modes, Preset and Manual.

The MG102FX amplifier head has two external speaker sockets, so hook it up to your favorite 1x12, 2x12 or 4x12 cabinet to bring extra power to your playing!

Reverb & FX
The MG100FX amplifier provides three simultaneous effects, Reverb, Delay and one of three Modulation effects (Chorus, Phaser, or Flanger).

Tap Tempo
Use tap tempo to set your delay times as easily as tapping your foot. Tap Tempo switch is used for the Delay effect only.

MP3/Line In
Jam along to your favorite bands or personal recordings by connecting to your MP3 or CD player to this convenient 1/8 inch input jack.

Headphones & Line Out
The Headphone/Line out provides speaker emulation, so you can hear your guitar like its being blasted through powerful speakers or record direct to a source without using a microphone.

Damping
Make it sound like your using 2 completely different amplifiers. When Damping is Off the power amp response resembles the feel of a classic power amp with emphasized middle and limited bass and treble. Switching Damping On will boost the speaker resonances both in the bass and high frequency ranges.

FX Loop
The FX Return socket on the rear panel is used to connect the your favorite external effects pedals or processor. The FX loop is series and set at instrument level so both guitar FX or professional units can be connected. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Marshall products.

Sound: I do not like the crunch or OD channels and feel I have wasted my money. The thought of losing over $100 on a return is very upsetting so I'm keeping the amp.for now and will only use the clean channel which sounds good but I've gone back to a huge pedal board which defeats my purpose for buying this amp. Feature: It did include a 2 button footswitch which would be great if I liked the crunch/OD channels. BUT I don't use it so that's irrelevant. If it turned effects on/off I would use it. Ease of Use: It is fairly easy to change and save the settings but once again since I don't like the crunch/OD channels this is irrelevant. Quality: It works fine. I use it 2-3 times a weeks since I have no other choice right now but seems to be holding up well so far. Value: Once again, if I liked the crunch/OD channels I would give the value a 10. But I could have bought something for about $300 to only use the clean channel. Manufacturer Support: N/A The Wow Factor: Despite the bitter taste of feeling stuck with this amp so I don't lose over $100 on a return it's still a head turning Marshall. Overall: I will only use this amp until I am financially capable purchasing another.

Marshall MG102FX Amp Customer Review
Feature: comes with a two button footswitch. would have been nice to have presence and resonance controls. Ease of Use: its very easy to get great sounds from this amp. just dial in your tone, add or delete your effects and away you go! Quality: this amp is built like a tank. Value: it's a 100 watt 2x12 Marshall for $550.00. what else can be said?
