Marshall MC212 Guitar Extension Cabinet (130 Watts, 2x12")

No longer available at zZounds
Though it's short, this compact Marshall cabinet produces a full-sized sound. With 2 65 watt Celestion speaker, it competes with the larger Marshall cabs.

Marshall's MC212 is a compact guitar cabinet that's designed to give you great tone that won't break the bank. The MC212 fits all Marshall full-size heads, and features 2 x 12 in., 65-watt Celestion speakers, carefully voiced to sound incredible in this cabinet. The MC212 is shorter than the Marshall 1936 cabinet with an understated look (no piping, no skid trays).

Features:
Made in England

4-ohm mono or 8-ohms per side stereo operation

Custom-voiced Celestion speakers

Castor sockets are pre-fitted, but casters are not included

All my Marshal stuff lasted and never broke down. So long as you stay within the rated power (continuous RMS) you should have no problems. I love the simplified minimalist design and understated look: Classic, refined, mature... but it still threatens to ROCK at the slightest provocation. It is very easy to load and unload.Small size and lightweight are great!
Sound
The only thing that could make this sound better would be to replace the speakers with EVs or B&Cs.
Features
Small, light weight, decent power handling, great tone. Slight angle to baffle help project sound. Stereo or mono hook up.
Ease of Use
Stereo or mono hook up, just plug in and play.
Quality
This say "Made in England" on the back. It appears to be as solid as all my old Marshal cabs.
Value
good value...
Manufacturer Support
Never dealt with them for support. Never had to..
The Wow Factor
If you play at reasonable volumes and do not want to tote a heavy cab, this thing rocks. In conjunction with a Crate Powerblock head and a handcart, it is one of the easiest LOUD stereo set-ups I have ever used.
