The daddy of the combo's has to be the MB4410. The 450 Watt houses 4x10 in. speakers and HF horn. Big enough to sound monstrous, yet transportable enough to fit in the car, the combo booms with low frequency bottom-end. The Modern Channel features Bass, Treble, parametric Mid and a switchable compressor with variable level control. The Classic channel with its ECC83 preamp valve includes a Boost switch and has a 3-Band passive tone network featuring a mid Voice control with three modes. Like the MB4210 the MB4410 also lets you select a blend of the two channels either from the front panel or via a supplied two-way footswitch. The overall volume of the blend is adjustable in addition to the balance between the two channels.

Sound: This amp sounds like King Kong stomping out Manhattan in the 70's. I put this thing up against a vintage ampeg v4, an ampeg ba 300 an ashdown 180 and a fender bassman 250 and it crushed all of them with big warm clean clear kong-like tone. I actually got it used (barely used) for $480 which was a complete steal as these things sound amazing. The only downside is that it is a heavy amp but screw that, I'd rather carry around a heavy sick sounding amp then carry some crappy sounding one around with my pinky. Feature: this thing is siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick. most useful features are the headphone jack, line out, fx loop, xlr out (d.i.) as well as the well done modern channel and classic channel with the switchable, blend channel. Amazing. this amp rocks. Ease of Use: took 2 minutes to dial up the sound I tried to get out of 10 amps prior to this. Quality: this thing is a tank, but still too early to tell as I got it today, BUT I bought the extended warranty so I will write back in if this thing craps out. Value: I just bought a cherry condition slightly used version for $480 bucks. How the hell can you go wrong? Manufacturer Support: got the super support from daddy's junky music so ....pretty good....if I need it. The Wow Factor: this amp will stomp your face off whether you are playing rock, metal, country, blues, bluegrass , funk or what. ridonk. Overall: this thing is in it for the long haul.
