Feature:
Good - does what it says on the tin. 2 channels, clean/crunch & lead. Each channel has 2 modes and it would be nice to change those from the footswitch. Its pretty versatile with seperate reverb for each channel and an effects loop - but its no JVM.
Quality:
Very well made - mines an early one, after 12 months of sitting on a shelf it turned on & sounded great with just a small warmup. Construction is very solid.
Value:
Mine was just over half the retail price - used they are better value. New - still pretty good compared to boogies, Diezel etc...
Desirability:
Just look at the logo.
Sound:
If you want that classic marshall tone with a bit more versatility than a 2203 or plexi this is your amp. Clean tones are the best I've heard from a marshall (probably with the exception of the new JVM). The crunch and lead tones really rock! As a caveat YOU MUST BIAS the amp before making up your mind. Mine had been sitting in a shop for 12 months without being played. Sounded ok in the shop, but once it was biased and re-tubed (only cost £20 for new JJ's) it was amazing! Sounds best when cranked! :D Its also really responsive to your playing, how hard you attack the strings etc...
Ease of Use:
Don't know how you could get much easier. Set the pres=2, treble=2-3, mid=4, bass=4-5 and pick your gain level & volume.
Support:
Emailed marshall a few times, although not with this amp. They respond quickly and are very helpfull.
Overall:
Don't think I'll ever sell this amp - I'll just get more marshalls :)

Feature:
mode and deep switches. the footswitch is physically well built but the lead is crap. replace it. prob change the head to cab lead too.
Quality:
Could be a shipping thing but the tubes sometimes come loose in their fitting. not a major problem but watch out.
Value:
YES
Desirability:
sooooooooooo sexy. prefer it to tsl.
Sound:
love it! it would probably be my fav amp ever, but it's my first serious amp.i play thru a 1960a. i can get ANY sound, QOTSA, mogwai, opeth, very versatile. deep switch and mode switch work a treat. it really is 2 amps in one. i personally prefer 12oclock treb and bass and 2oclock mid with deep switch on at 10oclock crunch with my trem pedal and a tiny bit of reverb
Overall:
i expect this amp will last me the rest of my life if i take care of it. it's helped me to write across different styles, being able to hear how a certain lick sound on a certain type of overdrive or eq. complements any style of music, except grunge.
