This Martin has everything you need in a fine acoustic/electric guitar! Starting with the tone wood combo that is found on almost every professional grade acoustic: Sitka Spruce top with East Indian Rosewood back and sides. This is a tried & true blend of solid tone woods that give you the best over-all sound spectrum. Great bass, punchy mids, and clear, sparkling highs. There is a reason this combo is found on most high end acoustics made! Next, the OM body style. This style has been around for over 100 years and has proven itself to be a very versatile size/shape. The OM is a full scale model which also has a 1 3/4" nut. Perfect for fingerstyle, strumming, flat-picking, and any other style you can think of! It's the preferred body style for players like John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Tommy Emmanuel, and countless others. Extremely comfortable to play, plenty of volume and projection. Perfect for any style of music, which is why this Martin is ready for anything! Combine all of this with a guitar that is flawless in build quality, finish, top grade woods, and of course Martin's Limited Lifetime Warranty and you've got a real winner here. The electronics on this model are the best Martin/Fishman have come up with yet. The proven Matrix Infinity Under saddle pickup combined with the Aura Enhance blender have a great 1-2 punch with all user-friendly controls that are mounted inside the sound hole for easy access...no knobs, buttons, or controls are showing to detract form the natural… read more beauty of this instrument. The 9v Battery is easily accessible at the end pin and can be changed out in seconds. As for the playability, this guitar plays like a dream! Low action combined with the wonderful PA Taper neck make this guitar effortless to play for hours. The venetian cut-away is beautifully done and makes access to the upper fretboard a breeze. The Martin OMC-28E has everything you could ever ask for in a modern acoustic/electric, with all of the craftsmanship and almost 200 years of guitar building excellence you have come to expect from CF Martin.
