The Martin DX1RAE is a D-14 style guitar with attractive looks, playability and a solid top at a great price! The DX1RAE features professional grade Fishman Sonitone electronics and a non cutaway style body.

The DX1RAE features patented high pressure laminate (HPL) Indian Rosewood back and sides with a solid Sitka spruce top, patented mortise and tenon neck construction and professionally installed Fishman electronics. Featuring proven Sonicore pickup technology with the Fishman Sonitone system featuring "easy access" volume and tone controls conveniently and strategically located just inside the soundhole.

I bought this guitar after trying out a few Martin guitars a few friends had... Man, was I hooked! Just looking at it makes me smile, and jamming on it, plugged, or unplugged, is a dream. It's such a solid package. Well crafted [well it IS a Martin] great tone, lovely sustain, bright tones on the high end, and that neck lets you FLY.. Really, the list goes on and on... Everybody's said it already, but this guitar is a beauty in its price range. You won't regret the investment!
