This is my first real Martin. I bought a Sigma Martin (SDR-28H) in 1994 that has a solid spruce top and it sounds very good but this Martin DRSGT all solid wood acoustic guitar sounds fantastic! I bought this guitar blemished for $619.95 and I'm very happy with the deal. The wood grain in the top has a few markings that arejimn't scratches or anything like that it just looks like the wood grain sort of slides in a peculiar direction in about two areas about 4 inches long but only about 1/4 inch in width. I couldn't be happier about these blemishes since I bought a $1000 All solid wood Martin for only $619.95 no tax free shipping. This is my first review for ZzOunds even though I've bought two other blemished guitars from you guys in the past year and those two were also fantastic. I'm 56 and played in a band with my best friend from 1980 - 1985 and he has bought at least 10 guitars from Zounds and we both highly recommend their customer service. I also bought a Blemished Ibanez AW 535 and I purchased this guitar for $279.95 and this guitar is awesome! I could find no noticeable blemish on this guitar anywhere. The back of this Ibanez is beautiful. My Martin sounds better but for the price the IbaneZ Artwood Series guitars sound great with the D'addario coated EXP strings and even better with the Elixir phosphor bronze I have on it now. The Martin DRSGT comes with Martin Lifespan strings and they sound very good. However, I will wait a few months and replace these Lifespan strings read more with Elixirs Phosphor Bronze from Juststrings.com

Sound
I own 8 acoustic guitars and this Martin sounds better than anything I own. it will sound and play easier and even better with Elixir strings.

Features
Martin logo on the headstock.

Ease of Use
The Ease of playability is very high.

Quality
The precision of the bridge pins fitting in the bridge is the best I've seen. The quality and perfection of the build of this guitar is by far the best I have. The A-Frame bracing on this model allows the top to resonate very well.

Musical Background:
Played semi- professionally from 1980-1985. Play Guitar ,Mandolin and. Harmonica.

Musical Style:
Rock, country, and Bluegrass.
