Martin DCPA1 Madagascar Rosewood Guitar

The Martin DCPA1 -- a very special dovetail Performing Artist guitar -- reflects the best of Martin innovation, expert craftsmanship and selection of superior tonewoods. As a PA series model, this dreadnought includes a unique slim tapered fast neck for exceptional player comfort in all positions, a smaller and lighter PA "belly" bridge for greater tonal response, and increased string spacing for easier finger picking. It also include the new state-of-the-art Fishman F1 Aura + onboard electronics system that deliver striking acoustic realism and projection.

Plugged in or pure acoustic, this is a great sounding guitar - and with good reason. The top is solid Adirondack spruce, pearl inlaid in the 41 style, and driven by 5/16 inch Adirondack scalloped braces, forward-shifted in the "Golden Era" X pattern. The back, sides, and headplate are Madagascar Rosewood, selected for its beauty and close acoustic and visual resemblance to Brazilian Rosewood. Solid black ebony is used for the fingerboard and bridge.

Details include grained Ivoroid bindings, Delmar beveled tortoise color pickguard, special "alternative torch" inspired position inlays, gold enclosed tuners, bone nut and saddle. One of the most distinctive Performing Artist production models to date.
