I've been playing Guitar for over 35 years (I'm 50) & have stuck with primarily with 1 gauge (10-13-17-26-36-46) but recently after having my Nocaster refretted the luthier persuaded me to try Darco stepping up to (11-14-18-28-38-49) praising both the quality, durability, & cost (Case of 12 packs) which was only $25 !!! I tried them with low expectations & I have to admit I was shocked !!! Sonic properties or characteristics are often difficuilt to translate to the spoken word but not only did I get a deeper tone, they maintained the twang thats been a staple to Tele's. I'm not easily impressed but Darco 11's are without a doubt the best quality strings I have ever used. I also believe that minimal increase in gauges between the GHS Boomer 10's & Darco 11's is just that, minimal. As far as I'm concerned I'll be a customer for life. Scott Stevens
