Martin Setting the Standard

C.F. Martin & Company has been setting the standard for acoustic guitars since 1833, and after almost 200 years of superior craftsmanship, the Martin name is seen on the guitars of many musicians in many different genres from country to blues, rock, jazz, bluegrass, and others. The dreadnought series came into play during the early 1930s and set itself apart by its deeper and larger body size compared to other acoustic guitars of the time. This style was soon followed by the industry and the Martin Dreadnought body soon became the standard acoustic guitar body that proliferated and is still seen today. This guitar has been, and continues to be, a true trendsetter.

This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
Nothing about this guitar I do not like. I would upgrad to the Geib 500 series case. I chose this guitar because I could not afford a D45.
Sound
Honestly I did not expcet a brand new guitar to sound htis rich and full. It is remarkable. It seems to sound better each day. This guitar is an absolute dream and worth every penny. I have a 1975 Dove that has aged nicely and still sounds great but this new D41 blows it away. I regret not buying it years earlier.
Features
Easy to tune and holds a tune.
