A virtual drumset instrument, Mixosaurus is to be used in computer-based music production environments. It comes as standalone software as well as multichannel plugin in VST/AU/DXi/RTAS formats for Mac and PC. Mixosaurus uses the powerful KONTAKT PLAYER technology which is Native Instruments' new and uniquely powerful sample library player. Shipped pre-installed on its own harddrive, it connects to your computer via Firewire800 or eSATA and is ready to roll in a minute. No lengthy installation, no free HD space required.

Mixosaurus with its 122 gigabytes of drum samples provide you an authentic rendition of a multitracked drumset in your DAW environment. * Important Notes
Mixosaurus DAW Drums Kit A needs a Firewire 800 or eSATA connection for optimum disk streaming results. Connecting the hardware unit via Firewire400 or USB is possible but these interfaces are not fast enough for Mixosaurus' disk streaming demands and thus should only be used for non-realtime applications. Note that the system requirements list Firewire800 or eSATA interfaces and nothing less. FW400/USB are included to provide greater compatibility and convenience for backup purposes only.

Windows users please be aware that 2GB system RAM is the minimum you need to run Mixosaurus but that you might likely need more than that to use it realtime in a fully-fledged project. Be sure to check your system's capability of using more that 2GB RAM before you order-some PC systems will not recognize more, no matter how much you install.
