Continuing with the original XtraFlex Duet's mission of lighting two full pages of sheet music, the Duet 2 was born out of necessity for an even brighter and more versatile light. Perfect for large music stands, two and three page music scores, music books and choral folios, this new Mighty Bright addition accomplishes its design mission - providing double the light of the original Duet and offering more versatility with its AC adaptability.

The Duet 2 contains four state-of-the-art Super LEDs (light emitting diodes), each providing three times the bright white light of a standard LED - providing 12 times the brightness - and they last virtually forever (over 100,000 hours). Two separate lighting heads each contain two LED bulbs, both with their own on-off switch, offering the option to use one or both lights on each head. All Super LEDs are manufactured with a lens to spread light evenly, eliminating hot spots, and distributing the light to cover a larger area. Outfitted on two heavy-duty gooseneck arms, the light beams can be quickly adjusted to shine in any which way, covering two pages of sheet music and more. The Duet 2 is energy efficient and wireless, affording extra-long battery life and powered by three tiny AAA batteries. In addition, if venue lighting technicians prefer control of all stage and pit lighting - including music lights - the Duet 2 can participate with its AC adaptability (included), an improvement on the original Duet.

With a strong, large-opening clip, the Duet 2 can be clipped onto numerous surfaces, including all music stands, or used as a freestanding wireless lamp. This versatile and invaluable light source is for everyone involved in music and music making - bands, orchestras, musicians, students, roadies, DJs, and professional sound and video technicians.

Sound: Not Applicable Manufacturer Support: haven't needed any Overall: This clip-on light rocks. There is more than enough light to play in otherwise total darkness, definitely in a venue where the light on stage is very poor. Each arm is seperately adjustable and can easily light 2 seperate sheets/pages fully. When the brightest light isn't necessary, you can use the lower light settings to conserve power. The only reason I rated it a 9 instead of a 10 is that it would be a little better if the attaching clip was a little stronger which would make it less prone to tipping on very thin surfaces like a standard music stand.

Style of Music: All types but really like big band and 50's 60's
