With the Magma Studio/Gig-Bag 25, musicians, producers and DJs can now conveniently transport their mobile studio and live equipment to their studio-sessions or live gigs. It holds for example a 17 inch Laptop, a large DJ-Controller (Traktor S4, VMS4, DN-MC 6000), MIDI/USB 25 keyboard, a drum computer (TR 808/909), one or two audio interfaces and other accessories.

This backpack is equipped inside with soft fleece padding, that prevents particularly the scratching of the devices. The detachable dividers allow to create a specific interior layout with variable spaces, so that all portable components, can be stored securely.

The four spacious exterior pockets, as well as additional mesh compartments of the side pockets and in the lid keep on offering a lot of useful stowage for smaller equipment or accessories, as interfaces, headphones, cables, mouse etc. The studio/gig -Bag can be transported optional with the convenient (concealable) rucksack straps, the enclosed shoulder strap or fixed with the aid of the telescopic sling on a trolley.

Overall: I got this bag to hold my Denon DN-MC6000 and it works great. The bag seems very well made and seems like it will last a few years. The outside is made of heavy canvas type material and the inside has a soft felt like lining. It comes with a bunch of internal dividers that you can use to separate your gear. I would recommend that you only do this once because the dividers velcro in place and its kind of tough to get them in without the velcro grabbing onto the inside of the bag. Once you have them in place though, they work great. Also the two largest compartments have zippers that can be pad locked to keep peoples hands away from your gear.The bag has a lot of space inside of it, but not as much as you might think. The main compartment is good for a controller, laptop, and laptop stand. The outside pockets are a good size for headphones and soundcards and the like. The front pockets work well for cables and misc stuff and the top pocket is great for easy access stuff like keys and a flash light. There are mesh pouches inside some of the pockets but to be honest they seem to get in the way more than anything. Also there is no built in places for small things like business cards or pens, so its best to get something to store those things in and then put that in the bag. Another great thing about this bag is that it can be carried as a backpack (best) or as a shoulder bag (a little big and akward) or set on a trolly and wheeled around (great for traveling). It also has a sturdy handle on top that you can use to easily lift the bag up with. Overall I am pleased with this bag and would recommend it to others.

Sound: Well it doesn't make noise, but it is great at protecting all of my equipment. Feature: It has enough room for my Denon Dnx-600 mixer, Macbook Pro, 5 records, Mic, Headphones, Novation Dicer, about 30 random audio and power chords, Rane SL1, Needle case, etc. All well designed to fit on my back. Ease of Use: completely customizable to whatever youre using Quality: no worries build is solid, zippers are tough and can be locked if desired. Value: worth more than the $160, products who try to do similar things go for much more (see Gig Skinz) Manufacturer Support: haven't yet
