New 24-inch bass drum and 4-piece kit
We've added a 20-lug, 24-inch bass drum to the M Birch line and a new 4-piece Rock 24 configuration. Of course, when you buy an M Birch, you get a free add-on tom tom, so this year, it's 7 for 6, 6 for 5, and now 5 for 4.

8-coat hand-rubbed lacquer finishes
The M Birch's exterior maple ply allows beautiful wood grain to show through the drum's eight coat, hand-rubbed lacquer finish.

Color matched bass drum hoops with claw hooks
The all maple M Birch bass drum hoops are color matched and secured via low profile claw hooks.

Include matching birch shell snare drum
All M Birch Kits include a matching birch shell snare drum.

Non-penetrating Mapex I.T.S System
The tom's mount is secured via the lugs and is not drilled directly into the shell. The Mapex I.T.S. System allows the shell to vibrate freely, allowing for maximum projection and resonance.

Include 550 Series double-braced Mapex hardware
M Birch kits come complete with Mapex 550 Series double-braced hardware.

Low mass, single-point-contact lugs
Mapex's low mass lugs are secured to the shell via only one point of penetration. Fewer holes in the drum shell means less vibratory interruption, resulting in truer tone and unimpeded resonance.

Remo® drum heads
All M Birch drums are equipped with Remo® drum heads.
