Designed by the same team that produced the best-selling Mackie SRM450v2, the Mackie Thump TH-15A delivers deep low-end and real power in a lightweight design that is extremely portable. Class-D Fast Recovery amplification pushes 400-watts of power to the high-frequency compression driver and bass-pounding 15-inch woofer. Plus, Mackie Active electronics, including a precision crossover and driver time-alignment provides total optimization for maximum system efficiency. Versatile by design, the TH-15A features a user-adjustable 3-band EQ for tone control and, since it can be pole-mounted or used as a wedge, the TH-15A represents the best value available for a complete stage solution.

Sound: It really does THUMP! I pluged my Taylor into it and I could not be more pleased with the sound. I also have used it with my DJ mixer and again the sound is just great. I am waiting for the TH-18 so I can complete my set. I do not know how you can beat The Thump for the money. Oh did I say it only weighs 36lbs. Feature: The EQ has really good sound. Ease of Use: plug and play it is that easy Quality: Seems to be well built Value: Yes worth the money The Wow Factor: I am going to get another and the sub that matches

Sound: So far I have used it twice, the first time I used it for a total of 7 hours and it work beautifully and then used it for another party outside a back porch lake view and I felt the volume was low from where I was at, I'm a DJ by the way...and I walked away to use my phone and the sound carried pretty far and very clear crisp sound, good clear bass and the EQ part I love the most b/c its much easier to control the bass from the back of the speaker than my own EQ hooked up to my system. Again, I've only used it twice, have the speakers stored in a good place where there's insulation when not in use, and they look very nice, especially for weddings and special occasions. I have liked Mackie for a very long time, always wanted Mackie and finally was able to purchase at a very reasonable price from Zzounds. Thanks Zzounds!! Feature: EQ, love it!! Ease of Use: Way lighter to carry, than the JBL's I used to rent!! Quality: So far so good!! Value: Thanks to Zzounds, I made 4 payments and just by sending my first payment, I had the speakers sent to me in less than a week in mink condition. The Wow Factor: I love the color black, so it was meant for me to purchase and own!! Thanks Mackie!! Overall: Well...I feel if I take care of it like I so far have it should last me a good while but just like everything, I'm hoping it does not start acting up until at least 3-4 years from now but it all depends how one takes care of his stuff.
