Designed by the same team that produced the best-selling Mackie SRM450v2, the Mackie Thump TH-15A delivers deep low-end and real power in a lightweight design that is extremely portable. Class-D Fast Recovery amplification pushes 400-watts of power to the high-frequency compression driver and bass-pounding 15-inch woofer. Plus, Mackie Active electronics, including a precision crossover and driver time-alignment provides total optimization for maximum system efficiency. Versatile by design, the TH-15A features a user-adjustable 3-band EQ for tone control and, since it can be pole-mounted or used as a wedge, the TH-15A represents the best value available for a complete stage solution.

Feature:
Only has an xlr plug( not included) the eq on the back is great for adjusting!
Quality:
I believe its made well. Time will tell. Only had this speaker for 3 days(11/18/09).

I believe it could have been a little less expensive

It sounds great. Clear. Perfect for a start up DJ or Experience Dj (just add a sub). The Bass is not that deep but it still gets the job done!

Very easy. Plug and play! It is a little bit bulky(expected from a 15" speaker). But not too heavy.

Thanks to Zzounds, I made 4 payments and just by sending my first payment, I had the speakers sent to me in less than a week in mink condition.
Desirability:
I love the color black, so it was meant for me to purchase and own!! Thanks Mackie!!
Sound:
So far I have used it twice, the first time I used it for a total of 7 hours and it work beautifully and then used it for another party outside a back porch lake view and I felt the volume was low from where I was at, I'm a DJ by the way...and I walked away to use my phone and the sound carried pretty far and very clear crisp sound, good clear bass and the EQ part I love the most b/c its much easier to control the bass from the back of the speaker than my own EQ hooked up to my system. Again, I've only used it twice, have the speakers stored in a good place where there's insulation when not in use, and they look very nice, especially for weddings and special occasions. I have liked Mackie for a very long time, always wanted Mackie and finally was able to purchase at a very reasonable price from Zzounds. Thanks Zzounds!!

Well...I feel if I take care of it like I so far have it should last me a good while but just like everything, I'm hoping it does not start acting up until at least 3-4 years from now but it all depends how one takes care of his stuff.
