I have played professionally for twenty one years, so you can take stock in this review. This kit was purchased for my two young daughters. With the kit being so inexpensive, it really didn't matter to me if they didn't like them. Well, they love the drums and the kit is surprisingly well constructed and really good sounding. This is not a toy, these drums are an excellent option for young, beginning drummers with tunable heads and good positioning options. I would recommend these to anyone.
