LR Baggs iBeam Acoustic Guitar Pickup

The iBeam sticks to the bridge plate inside the guitar and weighs just 1/3 of an ounce, making it easy to plug in your acoustic without impacting its tone.

The patent pending iBeam itself is the heart of the system and weighs only 1/3 of an ounce. This revolutionary bridge plate transducer easily sticks to the bridge plate on the inside of the guitar and does not affect the acoustic tone of the guitar in any way. The iBeam is microphonic enough to hear the rich (but correct) texture of finger squeak and top tapping, but is resistant to feedback and gives you excellent amplified sound without a hint of piezo quack. Included with each iBeam is a placement jig that allows you to install the pickup in minutes and get the ideal placement for the transducer inside the guitar.

All of L.R. Baggs systems are engineered to assure great sound and hassle-free performance right out of the box. They make many different systems from simple to complex. Each is designed for a specific purpose, but they have only one quality level - the very best they know how to build. Choose the right system for your application and budget and you will enjoy its great sound and performance.

I have used this product on my Yamaha FG480S since 1982 with DELIGHT. Passive: needs preamp. Pream used: LR Baggs Para Acoustic D.I.. Clean sound. No problems with the reviews that they can't hear it. Loud and way adjustable. Low Feedback. No cutting my guitar apart for controls: they are all on the Para Acoustic D.I.
