About This Product!
Description
Docs
The Feedback Master features a phase inversion control and two precise Garrett Null sweepable notch filters to accurately locate and eradicate feedback from top and air resonances without destroying your tone. The circuitry is all-analog pure class A from end to end to provide great tone quality. It works with virtually any pickup (active or passive) and includes a belt clip and mic stand adapter.

The Feedback Master is the best-sounding and easiest-to-use feedback remedy available for acoustic instruments.

Features
Two proprietary Garrett null sweepable narrow-band filters easily locate and damp air and top feedback resonances, controlling feedback without sacrificing tone

Phase inversion switch for additional feedback control

Adjustable gain for optimum signal level and lowest noise

All analog pure class A discrete circuitry makes it utterly transparent and quiet

Works as a standalone buffer-preamp with virtually any active or passive pickup

Includes mic stand adapter and belt clip

Recommended Use
The Feedback Master is recommended for acoustic players that experience continuous or severe feedback problems with their amplified instrument, or for performers in especially loud environments. While the Para D.I. includes controls that are capable of eliminating minor to average feedback, the Feedback Master is specifically designed for situations in which feedback is incurable with a normal preamp. Never the less, the Feedback Master features extremely quiet circuitry and all-discrete class-A design, making it a great option for normal applications.

The Feedback Master will work with any pickup; active or passive. It includes a gain adjustment knob, allowing it to work well with almost any stringed instrument. The EQ setting for this preamp is flat; it will not alter the amplified tone of your instrument.

LR Baggs FM Feedback Master Acoustic Guitar Preamp Reviews

8 People rated this product :
           7 out of 10
           9 out of 10
"THIS IS A HIGHLY VALUABLE TOOL!!"
Feature:
Enough features for what it's supposed to do.

Quality:
Excellent quality.

Value:
TOTALLY WORTH A C-NOTE!!

Desirability:
Great product, and worth the money.

Sound:
Really quiet, and especially helps with boosting the signal.

Ease of Use:
Super easy. Adjust your input gain, turn up the volume until just on verge of feedback. Adjust first "null" knob until feedback gone. Turn up volume again, and do same for secondary annoying frequency. Use "null" knob number two for that. Voila!

Support:
Never had to use, but a friend says they're good.

Overall:
If you play an acoustic instrument (guitar, reso, upright bass, ett.) have to play at higher volume, and have feedback issues, this is an inexpensive and easy solution.

"Save yourself frustration and feedback headaches -- GET THIS!!!"
Feature:
It features exactly what they said it will. No EQ -- just gain/volume and two notch filters that WORK, plus a phase inverter switch that give you even more control over feedback.

Quality:
Seems very well made and road worthy.

Value:
What are you waiting for? If you have bad feedback issues, GET THIS! Totally worth $100.

Desirability:
Don't let excessive feedback ruin your gig. If you play an acoustic instrument (any), this will save your nerves. A must in the tool bag for any serious acoustic instrument player. I got it for Upright Bass (works great). I've also used it for acoustic guitar, resonator and ukulele. Works great on all of them.

Sound:
The sound is excellent. If you add more gain, you'll get more noise, but that's true of any pre-amp.

Ease of Use:
Easy - just plug in, turn up JUST UNTIL you start to hear feedback. Then, turn the first notch filter until it goes away. Then continue to turn up until second feedback frequency occurs. Do the same with second noth filter.

Support:
Don't know, but I hear they're easy to deal with.

Overall:
It works as advertised. I'm happy with it.
