I bought this 2x12 to replace my 1x12 (which also had a V30 speaker) and it's a night in day difference when paired with my Peavey 6505, much better bass response, way less mid honk and the highs are now balanced by the rest of the frequency response instead of it sounding like a bunch of mids and highs. The difference when recording guitars is even bigger, I struggled to get usable sounds without massive eq when I recording guitar tracks with my 1x12 and was very frustrated by that and this cabinet totally changed that, I get the kind of recorded tone you expect with an amp like a 6505 and you don't have to spend hours dialing in the amp and messing with mic positions.

Musical Background:

I've been playing guitar for over 20 years

Musical Style:

Metal, hard rock.
