For their Quilted Ash series, Lanikai has paired a special batch of figured ash backs & sides with a solid spruce top, creating a family of ukuleles that has a bright, sparkling tone that really has its own character. A custom wide bone nut increases the string spacing, making these instruments super easy to play. Instead of a heavy lacquer, Lanikai uses a micro-thin satin finish on these ukes that highlights the natural beauty of the quilted ash and really lets these babies sing!
