Exclusive Technologies

Exclusive Line 6 technologies keep you on the air longer. Frequency diversity and true diversity protect your performance from all types of audio interference - even in hostile RF environments.

DCL
Exclusive DCL (Digital Channel Lock) technology provides an encoded digital transmission that ensures against all types of RF interference interrupting your audio. What you put into the microphone is what you get out of it.

PDP
New PDP (Proprietary Data Placement) technology provides frequency diversity, which incorporates a hybrid frequency-hopping spread-spectrum technology. Put simply, each user channel is split into four frequencies before being transmitted. The receiver reassembles the signal and the result is incredibly reliable operation - even in hostile RF environments.

Extended Range, Superior Sound

read more XDV digital wireless systems sound great at ten feet or 100 feet. Unlike with analog wireless systems, XDV audio quality remains crystal-clear and unchanged throughout each system's range. The XDV30 handheld wireless system features a 100-foot range (line-of-sight).

Rugged Construction

The road-worthy transmitters and receivers can survive the most grueling traveling conditions. XDV digital wireless systems are constructed of high-quality metal and polycarbonate to handle the most challenging performance situations. The XDV30 wireless system features a polycarbonate transmitter body and a polycarbonate desktop receiver chassis.

2.4GHz Broadcast

The best way to avoid interference? Don't get in its way. Broadcasting in the 2.4GHz band successfully avoids interference caused by TV stations, cell phone towers, and other high-powered sources. Plus, it can be used around the world without a license.

Battery Life Management

Clear, easy-to-read displays on the transmitters and receivers provide accurate battery life data. No more unexpected dead batteries - you'll always know how much juice you have left. Get 8 hours of constant usage from two AA alkaline batteries (included).

What about WiFi?

Worried about interference caused by 2.4GHz WiFi networks and Bluetooth devices? Don't be. XDV digital wireless systems use uniquely addressed and encoded digital transmission technology. Your signal will travel from your transmitter to your receiver free of interference.

Hearing is Believing

Line 6 digital wireless technologies ensure crystal-clear, pure and responsive vocal reproduction. Full-range frequency response, wide dynamic range, and superior transient response are just the tip of the iceberg.

Line 6 Mic Modeling

Line 6 is recognized as the world leader in digital modeling technology. With the touch of a button on the microphone shaft, you can select one microphone model based on the world's most popular live-sound mic which is the Shure SM58.

Included:

XDV30 includes a microphone transmitter with cardioid capsule, desktop receiver, two AA batteries and protective case.

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I have already 2 and will get the "big bro", the XDv-70. On 1 mic you have 7 modeled mic. Not any brands can top that.
Sound
Excellent sound compare to a the SHure pgx series.
Features
It's modeled with the SHURE SM58 but as a Digital microphone. The frequency is 2.4 ghz so no license and no interference even with saturated wi fi frequency on the venue. It goes beyond 100 ft.
Ease of Use
Just turn it on.
Quality
nice feel and not heavy. I like the cap as it's black and not silver. some are complaining about the battery cover as it's feels cheap as its in plastic but it's about who's using, boys are not men right?
Value
Yes. Compare to other brands who are still in UHF diversity/license issues etc., I tend not to be slaved by the overpriced big named brands.
Manufacturer Support
did not need one.
The Wow Factor
it's all black, very discreet.
