The exclusive Line 6 modeling technology that lives inside this solid-body bass delivers 24 exciting sounds ranging from vintage instruments to modern classics, acoustic basses, and synth sounds. Exclusive to Variax Bass 705 is the ability to instantly call up a five-string version of a classic 4-string, vintage 8-string, or acoustic upright sound. Plus, the low B-string extends the synth models into a range only keyboard players normally reach. These innovations make Variax Bass 705 a must-have for any contemporary bassist. Variax Bass 705 features an alder body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, and sealed die cast chrome tuners. Included is a custom-fitted gig bag and XPS DI direct box with 1/4 in. and XLR outputs that also supplies power to the instrument through the provided TRS cable. Available in black or sunburst finishes.
