Manufacturer's Description for Line6 Spider II 30 Guitar Amplifier (30 Watts, 1x12 in.)

The Spider II 30 gives you four independent amp channel models with which to punish your audience. The Clean, Crunch, Metal, and Insane channels come preset with tone and effects settings ready to rumble wherever and whenever you are. This crafty beast also features a dedicated distortion boost, noise gate, and the radical Smart Control FX. With six different effect types (two simultaneous), getting the right sound is easy. Spider II 15 packs six Smart Control FX including, Phaser, Chorus/Flanger, Tremolo, Sweep Echo, Tape Echo, and Reverb. All effects can be easily tweaked and delay times can be adjusted using tap tempo.

Clean: This amp model gives you everything from crisp, shimmering clean tones all the way to warm vintage tones.

Crunch: Line 6 based this model on a '68 Marshall "Plexi" 100-watt with a few added extras. We threw in the Variac "brown sound" trick on top of jumping the input channels! Now you're on fire!

Metal: This monster truck of tone delivers a tight bottom-end that's big, powerful, and fast. Use this amp model to get a punch, high-gain metal sound.

Insane: Our goal with Insane was to provide you with as much distortion as possible short of complete meltdown. Crank up the Drive control and prepare to dominate. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Line 6 products.

Sound: I really wasn't expecting much after owning a Blues Jr/FM65/ibanez50w/marshall dfx50 or whatever its called/ randall, but was blown away. Feature: the reverb is dynomite, I love it. Ease of Use: Fairly straight foward... Quality: seems to be a nice one the knobs turn smooth and are big enough to grab on to. Value: I was going to buy a digitech chorus and opted for this one... Wow, for the price of 2 effects you could buy this thing and have an amp with a 12" celest'n spkr.. Manufacturer Support: Hav'nt had to use it but the registration process was easy on their web site. The Wow Factor: I didn't realize how much I wanted it until I took it home. Overall: I really wanted a DireStraits sound with my Strat and this thing sounds so mellow/shimmering/ and smooth.

Sound: I absolutly love the sound. All my friends are jelous of it! Feature: The 6 different sound effects built in is awsome! And they all work great. Ease of Use: Its alout easier than using all the foot pedals. Quality: I think it looks great, performs great, and very dependable Value: It is worth the money that you spend Manufacturer Support: I wouldent know The Wow Factor: This would be the one I wanted if I could have any 30 watt amp Overall: This would be the best 30 watt amp you could ever dream of!
