What They Do
E. & O. Mari, Inc., the maker of La Bella Strings, is one of America's oldest and largest manufacturers of fine strings for virtually every kind of stringed instrument. E. & O. Mari makes and distributes worldwide over 2000 different strings suitable for every type and style of music.

No other company has such international scope nor makes strings for such an incredible variety of orchestral and ethnic instruments. E. & O. Mari is one of the only companies in the world still making traditional, real gut strings for antique and Baroque instruments. Other materials used include three different types of nylon, Kevlar, copper, brass, bronze, silver, and aluminum, in addition to numerous types of steel. Each string is created using a combination of tradition and technology. Sophisticated, computer controlled, and automated string-winding machinery is used where applicable, but hand winding is used where it delivers the best results.

Why They Do It
E. & O. Mari exists for musicians. They take great pride in creating the best products to maximize the performances of players, professional and recreational alike. E. & O. Mari has been guided for over 350 years by its commitment to high standards of quality and value. Their focus has been and always will be the musical artists of the world.

"Great Sound"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Great sounding strings (actually the best I've tried so far), but the packaging could look better visually, and the treble strings have extra string past the ball end that almost always ends up scratching the finish on my guitar.
