Upgrade your soapbar pickups to the super-lightweight Alumintone Bass Bar 3.5 -- designed by Jeff Lace to use 95% less copper than conventional pickups.

The Alumitone Bass Bar 3.5 uses 95 percent less copper while delivering zero noise with a wide frequency response and lightweight design that can lighten your bass up to two pounds without any modification to the guitar aside from a pickup swap! Designed by Jeff Lace, these Alumitone Bass Bars is the perfect upgrade for standard 4-string basses with a conventional sized soap bar pickup.

These current driven pickups are designed for passive installation. However, due to their low resistance, they will not only work with existing preamp technology but will enhance the sonic range of it, as well.

Formally introduced for Earth Day, the revolutionary Alumitone family of pickups use 95% less copper wire then standard pickup designs. By reducing the need for copper it saves valuable resources, reduces open pit mining and the very high energy need for converting copper ore to fine wire.

Alumitone Bass Bar technology uses patented and patent pending technology only available thru Lace Music Products.
