With excellent articulation and plenty of punch, the sound produced by the Lace Drop and Gain pickup set is made just for drop-D tuning. The neck pickup will give you that big, fat, overwound sound. In addition to detuned guitars, these pickups also excel for baritone guitars and with standard tunings.

Drop and Gain pickups are a totally re-designed set to help solve the common complaints of muddy tones and loss of single note articulation, while enhancing the guitar's own unique personality.

The Tech Talk

The Drop Gain pickups' sensor design allows for mismatched coils, for example -- the 15.1k coil of the bridge pickup drives the pickup hard while the other 9k coil pulls out the necessary articulation.
