EXB-PCM05 PCM Expansion Board - Vintage Archives
Great sounds from vintage synths, vocoders, tape-based keyboards, and rhythm machines. Packed with famous American and British analog and modular giants of the era, plus legendary mini KORG700S, MAXI Korg, MS20, Poly 6, and subtle nuances of vintage gear, there are a host of new sounds designed to meet the needs of the latest dance trends. 158 multi samples, 56 drum samples, 128 Programs, and 128 Combinations deliver analog heaven!
The internal PCM data and sampling data can be supplemented by adding up to 2 optional 16 Mbyte PCM data boards that are user-installable. Each set consists of a board containing high-quality PCM data and a 3.5 in. floppy disk containing 128 programs and 128 combinations that use this data.
Note: The "Vintage Archives" PCM expansion board (EXB-PCM05) is bundled with a new operating system; Triton version 2.0.1. Users must upgrade their Triton keyboard to this O.S. in order to use this new board. But the Triton-Rack does not need a new O.S. to utilize the EXB-PCM05, and the included 2.0.1 OS should not be loaded into the Triton-Rack.

"Much better than Roland Vintage Board"
Very nice board that makes Triton sound very organic and warm. Great Mellotron sounds! And very authentic strings machine and ensemble waves. And some very essential oscilator sounds with filter and attack... Very useful for creating your own sounds.
