Feature:
Easy to tune and set up. The stand is very stable. I have even added a Pearl swivel clamp so I can remove the top from the bottom of the stand and tilt them back for playing seated.
Quality:
The drums themselves are very well constructed. The stand is very sturdy and easy to adjust. My only complaint is with the optional Toca bongo attachment. It is designed well and adjustment is very flexible, however I had to return it once due to a broken clamp where the two shafts connect to one another.
Value:
Outstanding tone and durability for the price. You can spend a lot more for wooden "boutique" congas and not get the value or the tone that these offer. I had planned to trade them eventually for wooden drums but for now I'll still play them until I have some cash I don't know what to do with.
Desirability:
It's a decent name brand but not of the same "desirability" of say LP. But if you're unconcerned about impressing others, it's a very good set.
Sound:
These are surprisingly loud. I play them at church with a wooden set of Matador bongos, and they cut right through the mix. I play them unmiked. Even our drum kit is miked and the congas project right through. I have gotten many, many compliments on the tone of these drums and how they add to our overall sound.
Support:
The bongo attachment was replaced by the dealer with no problems.
Overall:
Like I said, I thought I'd be looking to trade up after a while, and I probably still will, just not as soon as I thought I would. I'm pleasantly surprised with the tone and quality.

I have been playing for over 30 years. My music has ranged from Country, Pop, Swing, Blues, Big Band, Latin and now Contemporary Christian. I have owned other drums, LP and Pearl. They just did not give me the sound and mainly the durability for the dollar. I put my drums through a lot of work. I do a lot of playing, loading and unloading. This drum has been thru a lot with me. If you are looking for a drum that you can hear the richness in it. Then this, is the drum. The cost of this drum for me was mere pennies in comparison to the thousands and thousands of moments of joy and pleasure this drum has brought to me. This is the drum The Almighty God has Blessed me with. Who am I not to play his music on it.
