"Sound as good as my audiophile stereo speakers, but can handle massive wattage"

These speakers are really great. Almost impossible to blow up unless you do something really stupid. Put them next to my very high-end audiophile speakers, and they compare very favorably. Perhaps with a flat response on the light side on the very low-end, but this is easily EQ'd out. Supposedly better with very expensive subwoofers, and I suppose that is true, but with just a little EQ, you can get really great sound, and wouldn't need the subwoofers unless you are in a really large space. I do wish they had other inputs just besides Speakon inputs. The JBL bag cover is quite tight, and takes a little effort to get on with just one person.
