The RR24 offers premium features including a mahogany body (ash top on Charcoal Gray), one-piece through-body maple neck with hand-rubbed oil back finish, graphite reinforcement and wrap-around comfort heel, and a 12"-16" compound radius ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and sharkfin inlays.

The sensitive Floyd Rose recessed double-locking tremolo adds expressive vibrato to notes and chords while working in concert with the Floyd Rose R3 locking nut for rock-solid tuning performance and precise intonation.

The most recognizable of Jackson's myriad offerings, the RR24 is available in either Natural Mahogany (with gold hardware) or Charcoal Gray (with black hardware), and white binding around the body, neck and Jackson pointed 6-in-line headstock.

I took a leap of faith on this guitar, since there is pretty much nothing as far as reviews/videos online. But after I saw it, I just had to have it. It’s the perfect blend of classy, with the natural mahogany and gold hardware, and attitude with the offset V shape and SD pickups. I wish it came with gold pick up covers, but that’s just my taste. Out of the box, first thing I noticed was that it’s surprisingly light for a mahogany body. Second thing i noticed, though, was that the guitar wasn’t set up (or atleast very poorly). Not a huge deal, if you know how to set up a guitar, but could be an extra cost for someone to have to take it to a tech. After getting in tune and getting the action where I like it, I gave it a strum and the natural resonance of this guitar is astounding! I have two other mahogany guitars and they don’t sound even close to as good as this one unplugged. After plugging it in, the Seymour Duncans sound great. Very hot and aggressive, but also a lot of versatility. I did have tuning issues initially with the FR bridge, but after abusing it a bit the strings stabilized and havent had issues since. That being said, the strings provided are pretty bad. They were already oxidizing before I even played it. Again not a big deal, but disappointing. Lastly, mine had minors blemishes on it at the base of the neck where it looks like the oil finish stopped. Whatever machine they use to sand the neck cut into the binding on either side. Not noticeble during read more play, but I’d expect better for a $1000 guitar. Overall, this guitar is fantastic and I’m very glad I snagged it, despite minor annoyances.
