Compound Radius Fingerboard

The fingerboard radius is roundest (12 inch radius at the 1st fret) near the nut, perfect for fretting crushing chords and deadly riffs. Then, as you climb the neck, the fingerboard's curvature gradually flattens out (16 inch radius at the 12th fret) perfect for effortless warp-speed shredding and the widest string bends known to man.

Sound: The pickups on this beast mean buisness, no small talk and straight attack. The custom tuned Jackson humbuckers put out a tone crisp as glass, solos sound almost dream like, while at the same time effectivly picking up the crunching hum of palm muting. Feature: The setup on this axe is one of my favorite, one master volume,one master tone volume, and a three switch pickup blade. Again straight for the kill setup, no complicated knobs to get in the way of serious shredding finger movement. The bridge at the bottom is very efficient especially because it comes already configured. The method of raising the bridge for string height is extremely easy and efficient, all you need is a flat head screwdriver and you can easily lower or highten multiple strings. Overall Sturdy build. Ease of Use: Takes a little while to break in but after you do it's smooth sailing. Quality: The best enough said...its a Jackson cmon. Value: A perfect value, got exactly what i paid for. Manufacturer Support: Never had to call them. The Wow Factor: Its pretty sexy. Overall: With care im pretty sure it will last forever.
