Jackson DKMG Electric Guitar

Feature:
There are many things i like on this guitar. The afterburner, the emg's, the fretboard (a dream) and the tremolo.

Quality:
The wood, the pickups, converting... its all great. There is only one thing I displace on my one: The tremolo is great but the attachment of the tremolo is not the best. When I tune with the tremolo the tones up, then the tremolo attachment don't tune it exact in normal tune. I put backboxes into my one. I think to take tremsetter is a good idea too - or when you have the money, you can displace it with an original Floyd Rose. Now my tremolo works perfect!

Value:
When I look at my one and thing about it what I payed for it, than I'm very happy that I bought this guitar. My opinion is, that these guitar is one of the best guitars for this money!

Sound:
I have the old one with 2x EMG HZ H4. So the thing is that these passiv 81 have not the power of the 9V battery loaded aktiv ones. The idea from Jackson to put the aktiv afterburner into was great. Now you can boost the HZ H4 with a 9V battery and its possible to get the same sound like an 81 by 1/3 boost of the afterburner. When you take the full power of the afterburner than you have an extream distortion an its impossible to get a clean sound out of it - nice for heavy things...

Ease of Use:
You need no long time to get an ingenious sound. The afterburner gives you a bigger range of sound than the DKMG with 81 and without the afterburner... I think its a matter of taste but I'm verry happy to have the old one

Overall:
Everyone who has not the big cash to buy a guitar for 2000 or more... this is your guitar. When you want a nice superstrat for heavy sounds and you attach importance to get a super fast and easy playable neck - take this one! 100% recommendable !!

Feature:
The turbo emg pickups are great especially if you need an extra boost when you are doing a solo.

Quality:
The body it great I see nothing bad with this guitar, I would buy another if something happened to mine.

Value:
Great guitar, well worth the money.

Desirability:
the curve of the body is beautiful, smooth lines and a beautiful archtop perfect if you wanted to get it painted, brings out all the colors perfectly.

Sound:
Great for any style of music, me personally I'm into metal, and it's perfect for it. Its got a nice harsh sound using the right setting, this guitar can do anything you need it to do. Best Guitar I've ever owned.

Support:
Haven't needed to talk to them yet. Everythings has been great with this guitar.

Overall:
I've had this guitar for a little over 6 months. there is nothing I dislike about this guitar. I would definately buy another. Jackson makes great guitars for all differents styles of playing and would recommend them to anyone.
