Tape2PC is a revolutionary tape deck that plays and records tapes, with a twist: it turns your music into MP3s! Tape2PC has a convenient USB connection so you can plug into your Mac or PC. No drivers are necessary.

Just plug Tape2PC into your computer using the provided USB cable, install the software and start converting your music. Easily transfer your music to your iPod or other MP3 player, or record it to CD.

Tape2PC includes EZ Tape Converter for PC and EZ Audio Converter for Mac, which help you import your music into iTunes. PC users can download a version of EZ Tape Converter for free with Gracenote MusicID technology, which analyzes your recordings and automatically adds album, artist, and song information for you!

When you're finished archiving your cassettes to your computer, Tape2PC can connect to your stereo system using standard RCA cables for convenient cassette listening in your living room, garage, or wherever your stereo system resides.

Feature: Pretty basic cassette player / recorder...with the added option of turning old tapes to mp3s Quality: everything is as stated, runs and works well. zZounds has verified that this customer bought this product from us. "Great Cassette deck for the money"
Sound: The sound is great - I am using it to transfer Cassette tapes we use in church to my TASCAM hard disk recorder so I can play them from the recorder or transfer them to CD. I am doing it this way rather than direct to the computer because I read another review that said that the transfer process would lower the pitch by half a tone. I didn't have time to test this so I am not taking a chance. Feature: The one thing the deck doesn't have is a headphone output. I really miss that - you only have the level display to go by when you are recording on the Cassette Ease of Use: Very easy to use Quality: Quality is actually better than I thought it would be Value: Excellent value Manufacturer Support: I hven't had to use the support folks Overall: Excellent product but it needs a headphone jack
