This complete electronic drum set fits into a fraction of the space of an acoustic drum set and comes with everything you need to get started playing. IED11 Sound Session Drums come with natural-feeling drum and cymbal pads, foot pedals for hi-hat and bass drum, all the cables you'll need as well as a power adapter. A rugged, adjustable stand holds the drum and cymbal pads and comes with all the mounting hardware you need. The complete set comes complete with everything you need for playing drum, cymbal, and percussion sounds.

The IED11 Sound Session drums also feature a drum-sound module with over 100 different instruments in 15 drum sets. You can modify and save the drum sounds and drum set for totally custom setups! There are 41 play-along music patterns for practicing and jamming out. You can listen to the drum parts on the patterns to get ideas for what to play, then mute the drums and play your own part! There are lights that show you what to play in case you want some assistance. You can record your drum performance and listen back. There's also a metronome built in for learning to play with a steady beat.

Sound Session drums have standard 1/8-inch stereo jack connections for headphones, connecting to your home stereo or amplifier, and a mix-in input for a CD or MP3 player.

Sound: I chose this unit to make my recording a little more compact. It matches well with my programs on my keyboards and the mix does not have to be touched to balance if any at all. Simple yet versitile. Feature: N/A Ease of Use: Didn't have to use the manual. It was a natural and no problems. Quality: My only point is the fact that of the adjusting of the parts to often from play. Tighten to much you can break a plastic grip or connector. On the road it is light weight. Value: I liked the price compared to others of the same. Others were overrated. I just needed something to simplify what my job consisted of. Manufacturer Support: This is my first time purchasing the ION. Everything I needed to do was taken care of in a professional manner. The Wow Factor: It matches all my other equipment in the studio. It goes well with my rack system and Cakewalk. Overall: I am pretty well content.

Sound: I purchased this electronic drum set as a Christmas gift for my two granddaughters, but my son and I have been chasing them away so we can use it. Back in the day, I played in a garage band (we're talking 45 years ago here) and owned a set of Pearls so I know what good sound quality is. This low=priced set comes remarkably close to the real thing. Feature: For parents, the most useful feature are earphones. The girls can bang away all they want without annoying anyone else. Ease of Use: Controls provide a surprisingly broad range of tones. Easy to assemble, easy to use. Quality: Because the set has been in use for only a couple of weeks we don't know how reliable it will eventually prove. Value: The set was purchased as a toy, but it is far better than that and I caught it during a pre-holiday sale for $30 less than I found it online anywhere else. A huge bargain as far as I'm concerned. Manufacturer Support: Have not had any problems that required contacting the company. The Wow Factor: Fun quotient is off the scale. Overall: The set is perfect until the girls show that they're ready to move up to a traditional floor set.
