Why is the newest name in amps the fast growing name in amps? Because Ibanez recognized that the world didn't need another amp dedicated to recreating the sounds of yesteryear. Instead they came with amps spec'ed and voiced for today's tones. Ibanez amps have their own sound character -- uniquely raw, edgy and aggressive. The head features 2 channels, footswitchable mid-shift on the overdrive channel, an effects loop, a headphone jack, and it includes a 4-button metal footswitch. The optional Tone Blaster cabinets feature closed backs for tight low end. These 4 x 12 cabs are divided into two separate compartments of two 12's each so there's no sound compromise caused by standing waves. Tone Blaster speakers were designed to have the tight bottom end of the classic British 12's, but with more treble response (especially useful for players who use a lot of distortion).
