The Ibanez SZ720FM Flame Top guitar is a descendent of the super-slim Ibanez S models, but it really is an all-new - and simpler - species. The SZ features a set-in neck, which provides greater sustain and easier upper register playing. The SZ720FM also adds incredible custom shop-style neck inlays that look incredible. The slightly thicker SZ body adds to its big, fat tone. The fast, 25.1 in. scale SZ neck on this guitar is slightly thicker than the Ibanez Wizard neck, and just as flat for accurate playability. For greater simplicity and sustain, the SZ features a fixed Gibraltar III bridge and thru-body stringing, which further augments its full tone & sustain. In addition, the SZ features a mahogany body with the outstanding Flamed Maple Top, and high output SZ ceramic humbuckers with added bass response.

SZ Series Features
Thru-body, staggered stringing compensates for different string thicknesses and provides superior tonal balance, feel, articulation and sustain.

3-piece set in neck for better upper fret access and sustain.

Quilted maple top and slightly thicker S mahogany body provide incredibly full sound with a wide range of overtones.

New Gibraltar III bridge offers fixed bridge simplicity and sustain. No sharp edges for longer string life. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Ibanez products.

Sound: I have played alot of guitars and once I played this guitar through my line 6 amp they were married. Feature: This guitar has all the features I need sometimes less is more, that being said this guitar is just right for me. You have to see and play this guitar to truly appreciate it. Ease of Use: This guitar is very user friendly. I don't have a problem hitting my switches or knobs when strumming.I can access the contols with ease. Quality: Mahogany body and maple top what more could I ask for. Value: In comparison to some "high end" guitars this is a steal.I would match this up against any guitar and come out completely satisfied. Manufacturer Support: Haven't needed to contact support for anything. The Wow Factor: sophisticated and romantic very sleek. Overall: This guitar is a keeper, In time I will buy another guitar ( The Ibanez F hole) and my collection will be complete.

Ibanez SZ720FM Guitar Customer Review

Sound: Such an even sound, it resonates nicely and is extremely clear. Feature: Great quality components, the mahogony body sounds great, the maple looks amazing... Quality: The mother of pearl inlays are beautiful, the guitar itself feels extremely solid, and well made. Only cosmetic thing is that the back is nearly black, and tehrefore prone to scratches. Value: I would expect this to sell for MUCH more than it is! Manufacturer Support: Guitar companies always have lousy support, but... My experiences with Ibanez haven't exactly been wonderful thus far, although that was with a different guitar The Wow Factor: SEXY BEAST!!!!!!! Overall: I expect this guitar to keep me intersted and satisfied for a LONG time to come!
