About This Product!
Description
Docs
The description of Soundgear basses in the specs on the cutting edge section doesn't give you a sense of the enormous range of models and price ranges of the 2001 Soundgear line. It does give you the 3 Soundgear basics: (1) Soundgears are fast - exceptionally easy to play whether you've got tiny hands or monstrous appendages. (2) Soundgears are comfortable. (3) Soundgears are versatile.

Fast, comfortable, and versatile are the reasons why Soundgear basses flew in the face of tradition when they debuted in the late 80's. Today they're the same reasons Soundgears are standard equipment on every stage and in every studio - and in the hands of bassists playing everything from gospel to country to jazz to death metal.

"Very nice bass for the money"
For under $1000, this bass has superb tone and plays wonderfully. The carved out body allows for high fret access, and the drop D switch is a nice feature. I recently purchased this after considering a musicman and other basses around $1500, mainly because this one is so light. Definitely recommended as an intermediate bass... its not awesome quality but it is more than worth $1000

" this bass feels so natural and right. I enjoy it every time I play it."
Feature:
the Eq is noisy at high boost settings. the case is nice, but heavy, and the strap locks are quite nice. it comes with a manual

Quality:
i think the finish and fit is very good, there isnt much around that would beat the quality of this bass.

Value:
i feel as though its good value, this is the most expensive bass i have eveer bought, but every time i pick it up, i still marvel at the quality and great feel its got.

Desirability:
i really enjoy this bass every time i play it. That feeling is priceless!

Sound:
i love the sound of this bass. it has warmth and depth, and can be heard through the mix, it has a versitile eq built in allowing a range of sounds.

Support:
no dealings

Overall:
i dont think i'll be replacing this bass for a very long time.
