The Ibanez SR300 is a good bass for a great price. With a thin, super-playable neck and passive humbuckers, the Ibanez SR300 really rocks.

All standard SR300 and SR370 models feature the B120 Bridge. String installation has never been easier-the B120's extra-wide string slots can accommodate even the heaviest of gauges. Walls and channels of the bridge plate effectively "trap" the saddles, ensuring perfect directional uniformity.

For 25 years the SR has given bass players a modern alternative. With its continued popularity, Ibanez is constantly endeavoring to answer the wider needs of a variety of players, at a variety of budgets. But no matter what the specs, the heart is the same-SR continues to excite with its smooth, fast neck, lightweight body, and perfectly matched electronics.

When you get serious about playing bass, your decision on your next bass will determine your entire carrier as a bassist. Do you compromise its feature for affordability? Or do you step up to the more expensive higher end bass? The SR300M is your ultimate choice with uncompromising features and unmatched affordability. It features the same-SR smooth and fast neck, which is reinforced with 5 piece Maple/Rosewood woods. The sleek arched lightweight Agathis body gives you the ultimate in playing comfort. The CAP EXF-N2 pickups give you some serious growl and in combination with the EQB-IIID 3-band eq, you'll get any sound you want. The SR300M also features a Maple fretboard for additional attack.

I would re buy this bass in a heartbeat if anything were to happen to it.
Sound
This bass sounds phenomenal. You won't find a better bass in the price range and could even spend more on poorer sounding basses. Between the tone shaping knobs on the bass itself and your amp, you will definitely be able to find your perfect tone.
Features
This bass has everything it needs and nothing more. Everything it has functions perfectly and is incredibly useful.
Ease of Use
This bass plays beautifully. The neck is nearly as thin as my Schecter Omen 6. All frets are pretty easily accessible. Beware if you are a sloppier player as this bass can be unforgiving at times. The Active pick-ups make sure everything is heard.
Quality
Everything on this bass is solid and well made, my only gripe is that there are a few parts on the neck that feel like they weren't sanded as well as they could have been.
Value
Best bass in the price range by a mile. Holds its own with basses twice the price.
Manufacturer Support
Have not had to deal with them so I suppose that is good.
The Wow Factor
It is an attractive, easy to play bass for a steal of a price.
