"euphoria, nirvana, heaven"

Feature:
where to begin... well, first off, it included this huge, heavy-duty case. big plus right from the begining. in addition, the edge-pro system is very well put together, and refuses to go out of tune. and for those of you out there who are picky about the heel of the neck joint (like me), you will find the thru-neck very, very comfortable, all the way up to the 24th fret.

Quality:
prestige. need i say more?

Value:
personally, i believe that it should have been priced one or two hundred dollars lower, but it is still well worth it.

Desirability:
the picture on the internet does not do this beautiful guitar justice. it hurts the appeal of the guitar. it is gorgeous in real life, with the naurtal finish, and the chrome-colored hardeware looks totally badass.

Sound:
this thing is simply amazing. to begin with, the dimarzio/ibz pickups are super-hot, while still having a great clean sound. the neck pickup can almost sound like an acoustic.

Ease of Use:
the split- 5 wiring allows you to switch between single-coil pickups and humbucker crunch. at first, i underestimated this feature, but found the single coils very useful for variety of tone. my only complaint about this guitar is how hard it is to tune the edge-pro tremelo. but, once you get it in tune, it will not falter.

Support:
i never dealt with ibanez, even though this is my third ibanez guitar. however, when i played it in the store, it was like a dream come true. set up almost perfectly, it reached it's best after B&B set the action up and replaced the strings while it was on lay-away.

Overall:
I will probably never find a guitar that can match up to this spectacular instrument, except maybe one with the same features and a fixed bridge, for alternate tunings. the ash body is light-weight and very resonant. you will not be disappointed.

"It's everything for the grown up shredder!"

Feature:
It's shape of the neck to body is amazing compared to anything else I have ever played. Lots of access to the upper neck. Tight pots, Great bridge. Stays in tune amazingly. Fine tuners on the bridge aren't "too fine". Incredible case... sucks the guitar into it... and has a cut away that allows you to leave the whammy bar on. Beautiful headstock inlay.

Quality:
Nicest guitar I have ever owned. Looks like it was handmade. Not a flaw, not a weird thing anywhere. I guess with the Floyd style bridge, you would need a backup for a gig.

Value:
Amazing guitar.

Desirability:
I liked how it rocks, but doesn't look like a metal guitar. An old guy can play one in a Jazz band, and it wouldn't be too weird.

Sound:
The pickups are split, with a 5 way switch. Amazing combination of sounds. Hot humbuckers too. By having the thru body neck, the resonance is amazing. It is loud unplugged! Pickups are hard mounted, so the whole guitar is about resonance, and it's got it. Excellent intonation and setup, right out of the box.

Support:
Have no idea. I understand that "J Craft" is a small luthier team for Ibanez. Nothing on the web about them!

Overall:
I'm in love. Much happier with this than I would have been with a Jem.
