When i decided to buy this guitar i was looking for one with EMG pups already installed. Only a few brands offer this so i was limited from the start. Some where a little higher priced, one was just a little cheaper. The deciding factor was the mahogany body and maple\bubinga neck. The neck on this guitar, in my opinion, should make this guitar cost more than it does. The nitro wizard neck is very nice, thin, and fast. The bubinga does help the sound quality. The guitar was set up great, low action, no string buzz, and intonation was very close. Edge zero bridge stays in tune very well, and I gave it a good work out too. The frets had some tarnish on them, they where a little dull and the strings didnt slide on them freely. Hard to explain but my fingers noticed it right away. I pulled strings off and checked the fret height and it was so close to being even all the way up the board that I didnt feel the need to file them. I did polish them and now the strings move on them with ease. The binding looks really nice. The paint Is really nice also. I haven't found any flaws in it any where. Having no fret markers combined with the flat black and black hard wear gives this guitar a lot of attitude. Over all im very happy with the price for how well it looks, plays, and sounds. I will be looking at another iron label with a fixed bridge soon.

Sound
This guitar sounds great! EMG 81/60 is my favorite combination. The 60 cleans up very well through the… read more clean channel on my amp. I have an Ibanez SA guitar that also has the mahogany body and EMG 81, and this guitar sounds better. Im guessing its the bubinga in the neck that is making the difference in the sound. I noticed the fuller tone and increased sustain as soon as i got it tuned up and played the first song. I was very pleased with the sound.

Features
The edge zero bridge Is great. Stays in tune very very well. I was able to get perfect intonation with it. The kill switch is the only bad part of this guitar. It works fine, I just dont see the use of a kill switch. Maybe in the 80's! Im going to remove it and take advantage of the free space to install an EMG afterburner switch that adds up to 20db of boost.

Ease of Use
The guitar is easy to use just like any other guitar. The locking trem can be a lot of trouble if you dont know what your doing. But if your new to guitars then you probably are not thinking of buying one that doesnt have markers on the fret board.

Quality
Very nice quality for the price. Looks great, plays great, I will most likely buy another Iron label in the future.

The Wow Factor
The wow factor would have to be the attitude this guitar has as soon as you pull it out of the case. The clean fret board and flat black paint looks great together. Everyone I have shown it to say it looks bad fallowed by another word I cant put on here.
