Overview
Ibanez is the choice of 7-string guitarists because of the reputation of the RG series line. The modern Ibanez RG7420 is very expressive as you easily play your screaming riffs. Cloaked in midnight black, the RG7420 basswood body is complemented by its ebony fingerboard, appointed with bend-friendly jumbo frets.
As the originators of the thin, fast neck, the Wizard II-7 neck is a point of pride for the Ibanez luthiers. Their design accommodates the added tension of the extra string, yet still provides the level of comfort that translates into maximizing player performance.
The Quantum humbucking pickups yield a whole palette of thick, distorted tone textures. But few things can better animate a guitar performance than the Ibanez Std. DL tremolo system.

Not a bad price for the quality of this guitar. Sounds good on with clean tones and distortion. Good note definition. definitely better than most slightly cheaper 7 strings from competitors.
