"Great guitar for the money!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This is an excellent guitar for the money, a screamin demon, but watch out, the fret ends bite!

Sound
This guitar screams. The inf pickups are much hotter than expected, especially after reading other reviews. I have emg 81's in my ESP m1000 and this guitar is just as hat but with a lot more harmonics and headroom. It just sounds great, and the single coil sings clear and chimes like church bells. I read so many negative reviews of the infinity pickups I started looking for replacements. No need.

Features
Everything on this guitar is fantastic, the color is astounding, the pics online can't do it justice. The neck is solid and flat, the unfinished maple is the best neck feel I have ever experienced and most of the details are flawless. The finger board is beautiful as well. The only disappointment I have are the fret ends. They are, to say the least, rough. For the price of this guitar and the attention to detail in the rest of the instrument I was surprised by how bad this is. It is almost like they clipped them off and never touched them again. I can dress the frets myself, but it is time consuming and I can only do about 1 or 2 a day and that is time I could be playing. I wouldn't say that the fret ends are a deal breaker, just be prepared for that smooth fast neck to be filled with jagged snags that at some point are going to need professional attention. That being said, if these were dressed properly I could easily read more see this as a 900 dollar guitar, rather than a 400 dollar one. It is, very much worth the price though.

Ease of Use
This beast screams, sings and moans when you want her to. The neck is comparable to my ESP M guitars, maybe slightly thicker and flatter.

Quality
Excellent quality in the instrument. Set up is low and tight with no fret buzz and no dead frets, intonation is perfect and the attention to detail apparent in every inch with the exception of the fret ends.

Value
Great value. Only the fret ends say this is a 400 dollar guitar.

Manufacturer Support
ZZounds was fantastic. They gave me a great deal, which means more to me than some might imagine. I have gone to certain brick and mortar establishments seeking a price match only to be told they can't because the price is below their cost. when ZZounds says guarantee they mean it. Its no fair weather guarantee where, as long as the profit margin is met they will beat the competitor. Unfortunately for most of the rest of the industry this is the case. That is why ZZounds has my business from now on. I know I can trust them and the guarantees they make.

The Wow Factor
I have many other guitars, I wanted this one because I don't have an RG and I liked the color and the maple finger board.
